Join this team as the driving force behind the development and delivery of the Reference Architecture and interoperability work products, integral components of the Shared pan-Canadian Interoperability Roadmap.
As the SeniorSolutions Architect, you will take on a leadership role, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to design, define, and build core interoperability specifications that contribute to an open, standards-based ecosystem for health information exchanges.Key Responsibilities:
- Innovative Design Leadership:
Craft a modern approach to modular interoperability components based on strategic direction. - Reference Architecture Development:
Utilize the Shared pan-Canadian Interoperability Roadmap to guide the design and growth of Reference Architecture elements. - Collaborative Working Groups:
Lead an interjurisdictional Reference Architecture Working Group to foster agreement on architecture components and technology enablers. - Technical Expertise:
Drive the development of technical design elements for pan-Canadian interoperability specifications. - Team Building:
Establish and lead a diverse team of professionals with expertise in various subject matters. - Stakeholder Engagement:
Actively engage and lead the team in stakeholder events, seeking solutions for targeted interoperability components. - Industry Collaboration:
Proactively participate in industry events, acting as an interoperability and technology expert to drive collaboration with external stakeholders and technology partners.Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field. - Professional Experience:
Over 10 years of experience in system architecture, solution design, development, and deployment principles. - Programming Skills:
5+ years of software development experience in multiple programming languages. - Healthcare Expertise:
Working knowledge of Jurisdictional digitalhealth delivery programs. - Standards Proficiency:
Familiarity with healthcare data and exchange standards (HL7 FHIR, SNOMED, IHE, etc.). - Identity and Access Management (IAM):
Strong knowledge of IAM and Consent standards and workflows (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, FIDO, DIACC) is an asset. - Cloud Architecture:
Must-have experience in Cloud Architecture; certification is a nice-to-have. - Enterprise Architecture:
