About the role:
The role will specialise in organic and regenerative farming practices, supporting our agricultural initiatives across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
This role will be an integral part of our small entrepreneurial team based in France and will involve close collaboration with local farmers and producers, as well as focusing on our lavender farming in the south of France.
Additionally, the agronomist will travel to work with farmers throughout the EMEA region, ensuring adherence to our qualityassurance standards and fostering sustainable farming practices.
The role will be instrumental in developing and implementing sustainable crop plans, conducting soil analyses to enhance fertility using organic methods, and guiding farmers in the effective management of pests through natural and organic solutions.
The role will be an integral part of our global farming team in fostering organic farming principles, promoting environmental stewardship, and contributing to the growth of a healthier and more sustainable food production system.
Key Responsiblities Provide expert advice to farmers on organic farming techniques tailored to local farming conditions.
Support farm managers in upholding the YoungLiving Seed to Seal standards by being actively involved in operations, by helping to innovate creative solutions to organic farming challenges, develop best management practices, and implement natural and sustainable integrated pest management, crop production, and crop harvest practices.
Ensure YoungLiving mission statement, vision, values, and Seed to Seal standards at YoungLiving corporate farms, partner farms, and throughout the supply chain.
Assist in developing sustainable crop plans, optimising yields, and minimising environmental impact.
Conduct soil analyses and recommend strategies for enhancing soil fertility using organic methods and prescribe best management strategies with an integrative approach to develop biotechnology.
Conduct Seed to Seal Farm audits of corporate farms, partner farms, and supply chain (including potential farms and new botanicals) as assigned.
Implement integrated pest management strategies, advising on natural and organic solutions.
Guide farmers and producers in efficient water management practices suitable for the region.
Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance farmers' and producers understanding of organic farming practices.
Collaborate with local communities to promote environmentally friendly and socially responsible farming.
Work with regional research departments and laboratories to ensure products meet Seed to Seal standards.
Conduct research, development and implementation of new plants, products, and procedures that produce essentialoils and essential oil products of the highest quality.
Stay updated on the latest developments in organic farming and collaborate with research institutions where required and share information across global YoungLiving farming team.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Expert knowledge of organic regenerative agricultural practices Understanding and application of carbon sequestration and its stocks in the market Demonstrated audit processes and reports completion Ability to work with stakeholders to implement sustainable organic and regenerative agricultural practices Application of biotechnological processes to improve crop health/production Advanced knowledge on internationally recognised certifications in social practices, environment and organic production.
Bilingual in French and English, written and spoken Intermediate Spanish advantageous Proven ability to analyse complex situations, formulate technical advice and combine practical field work with meaningful reporting deliverables Team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, confident and able to work hard, independently to fulfil objectives.
Able to travel to support execution of role across EMEA region as required.
Education & Experience:
BSc in Agronomy, Plant Science, Agricultural Engineering or similar degree 3 years of proven field and technical experience (agronomical & technical) in relevant organic and regenerative farming environments, combining operational involvement with project planning 3 years of farm auditing experience Evidence of results on previous large scale organic agriculture production projects MSc in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering or similar degree - desireable Knowledge and understanding of YoungLivingessentialoils and products YoungLivingEssentialOils France Expérience souhaitée
