Position Overview:
Join our team as the Head of Biology, where you will lead the biological research efforts, contributing to the evaluation of therapeutic targets, project flowchart development, and the identification of preclinical candidates.

Responsibilities:
Leadership in Portfolio Building:
Drive the identification and assessment of innovative targets using our automated knowledge graph, contributing to the growth of our internal portfolio.
Project Strategy Development:
Develop and oversee project strategies and flowcharts, ensuring the integration of relevant bioassays from hit generation to preclinical candidates.
Project Management:
Lead and monitor projects, analyze results, provide recommendations, and ensure alignment with our strategic goals.
Team Leadership and Development:
Mentor and support the Project team, guiding biologists, challenging scientific results, and actively contributing to the discovery of new drugs.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration:
Engage with external experts and foster collaboration to ensure project success across diverse therapeutic areas.
Outsourcing Management:
Oversee outsourcing activities, ensuring the quality and relevance of external biological studies.
Qualifications:
Ph.D.
in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
Proven track record in drug discovery within pharmaceutical or biotechnology companies.
Expertise in small molecule drug discovery and target identification Expertise in biochemistry, cell biology, and extensive experience in developing in vivo pharmacological assays, biochemical assays, and cellular assays in drug discovery projects.
