Job Overview
RGG Capital seeks an exceptional Deputy Chief Investment Officer to join our team in Dubai.
This is a unique mandate to co-architect sophisticated, multi-asset investment strategies, backed by significant patient capital and the focused approach of a private investment office.
Reporting directly to the CIO and working closely with the CEO, you will be a key partner in driving multi-million-dollar portfolio growth across diverse asset classes.
You will shape high-impact capital allocation decisions, design robust risk frameworks, and help cultivate a culture of analytical excellence within a discreet, focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of sophisticated investment portfolio strategies across multiple asset classes that drive exceptional returns.
- Develop and implement comprehensive risk frameworks that ensure robust oversight while optimizing portfolio performance.
- Spearhead research initiatives that enhance our investment models across equities, credit, and options markets.
- Partner with the CIO to formulate strategic investment approaches that balance growth objectives with appropriate risk parameters.
- Generate sophisticated risk analytics and performance insights that inform executive decision-making.
- Mentor team members while fostering a culture of analytical excellence and innovative investment thinking.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
- 10+ years of proven investment management experience with significant exposure to hedge fund operations and selection, preferably within family office environments.
- Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) from a top-tier institution in Finance, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
- Exceptional quantitative capabilities with advanced Excel skills and strong programming proficiency in Python for complex financial modeling.
- Demonstrated expertise in multi-asset class portfolio management, with a particular focus on equities, credit, and options.
- Proven track record developing sophisticated risk management frameworks that perform successfully even in volatile market conditions.
- Deep understanding of financial markets, including derivatives and complex financial instruments.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with senior stakeholders.
