PURPOSE To contribute to the continued success and further growth of Chloé through the development and delivery of highly effective global marketing strategies and assets that build both brand and business.

The mission of this role is to intelligently develop the Brand from both a commercial and creative standpoint, to reflect the Brand values and direction in all communications, and to ensure that the consistency of brand identity and messaging runs through all assets, collateral, pieces and environments across the Chloé world.

In a nutshell:

edit, curate, create a dynamic projection for the Brand .

We are also looking for a brand builder, a story teller.

DIMENSIONS The CMO will report directly to the CEO and will have ultimate responsibility for all marketing activities and for the Chloé brand as a whole, across the global reach of the business:

Japan, China, APAC, Middle East, Europe and USA being key main markets.

The CMO will also be an essential partner to the Creative Director.

The role holder will be a retailer, have a great understanding of how a store works, and how to leverage marketing to drive improvements and developments at store level.

A digital first mind-set and experience is essential to contribute to digital growth and digital investment and e-commerce development.

The role holder will manage a central team based in the global head office and provide structure, strategy and influence to local marketing teams within the markets/regions.

The role will focus on managing strategy, direction and implementation across five key areas:

Marketing Brand image Digital & Social Press, PR and events Communications for the Brand as a whole, and will have end to end accountability of marketing direction and activities.

This role has a global brand focus.

How the Brand looks, what it says, how customers perceive us, in which media channels it is represented this role holder is accountable.

This position is a brand management role, and the holder will be a protector and implementer; someone who knows and understands stores, who has a retail mindset, who also understands the romancing of a brand and can deliver assets and processes to support that.

Key influencers and decision makers in the industry Strategic and operational partners of the Brand Richemont Group functional and corporate contacts PERSON SPECIFICATION EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS Educated to degree level Evidence of continuous professional development within the marketing arena EXPERIENCE Extensive experience of leading a marketing function in an international environment Editorial focus Outstanding marketing skills, particularly within either the luxury industry or a relevant PERSONAL SKILLS Interpersonal skills are absolutely critical for this role and unsurpassed rapport building skills are a prerequisite.

The ability to quickly gain the trust respect and confidence of a wide range of stakeholders both within the Brand and across the Group will be vital.

The candidate will be in possession of exceptional communication skills in all environments.

The individual will be highly dynamic, bright, and ambitious with superb (and finely honed) leadership skills.

The successful candidate will display the ability to work with teams and individuals with both charm and integrity.

An individual who is a well-rounded marketing â??technician', who has proven their ability to confidently manage across a wide range of disciplines, managing creativity, commerciality, vision and strategy, and operations with equal flair and insight.

An individual with significant experience of managing the marketing of a brand across a number of international markets and a track record of flair and instinct within luxury brand marketing.

An individual who has demonstrated the ability to operate at both a highly strategic and also an operational level.

The successful individual will display vision, creativity, innovation and opportunism and will take calculated risks that will benefit the Brand, and have a track record of developing innovative marketing campaigns and strategies.

The Brand wants to capitalise on its positioning as the ultimate destination for men's luxury goods and build on the founding principles of creating innovative and functional products which are crafted from the very best materials and manufactured to the very highest standards by growing customer awareness and loyalty, whilst achieving financial targets and boosting sales.

The role holder will balance brand imperatives with these more commercial measures, which will provide the key metrics for this role.

Expertise in brand building will be pivotal.

The candidate must have demonstrated success in building an image driven brand, be capable of operating in an entrepreneurial environment, and have an inherent appreciation of premium goods environment with a personal sense of style and taste.

Possessing excellent analytical and consumer insight skills, with a strong emphasis on delivery and results, the role will dictate marketing strategy in line with brand objectives, drive operational marketing plans and deliver activities, therefore a full understanding of marketing strategy, marketing techniques and qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques is important.

Experience of managing a global marketing budget and using resources effectively is a pre-requisite for this role as it is a commercial role, and the need to understand and be comfortable with the impact decisions make on bottom line is critical.
