Our opportunity is based at the Chartres production site.
The Department
You will report to the Vice:
President of the Finished Products Department.
You will
work as part of a team driven by a taste for challenge, team spirit and a desire to get
team spirit and the desire to be as close to the field as possible.
You will have the opportunity to manage a team of 70 people, including 7 direct reports.
The position
- Performance management
Ensuring effective and relevant monitoring of the departments objectives, deliverables and performance results;
Ensuring that the departments deliverables comply with current regulations (GMP, labour regulations, corporate guidelines, ISO, etc.);
Sharing expertise, benchmarking, innovation and strategic vision with direct reports;
Putting in place the necessary indicators to identify and resolve any process variations or deviations.
Helping to make decisions and challenging to resolve complex problems in the departments relevant activities (clarifying and controlling discrepancies);
Supporting and developing the implementation of the continuous improvement process and ensuring that it is embedded in the teams.
- Coaching / Giving direction
Implementing the departments overall strategy, defined in conjunction with the Director, in line with the sites objectives;
Support direct reports in defining KPIs and operational objectives;
Coaching and developing the managerial skills of leaders and the skills of team members;
Ensuring effective communication internally and externally (other departments and sites) in order to disseminate the companys key messages.
- Team management
Sharing direction and strategy to ensure the day:
to:
day commitment of the people in the department;
Assessing skills, monitoring peoples development progress and providing individual feedback on performance;
Carrying out administrative tasks related to people management.
- Budget management
Preparing, monitoring, managing and optimising the departments budget in accordance with the annual or revised budget;
To support the investments required to deploy the sites strategy.
Qualification :
:
You have a 5:
year degree (engineering or pharmacist).
:
You have at least 6/7 years significant management experience in industry.
:
You will be working in an international group and have a good command of English.
:
You know how to develop and coach a team.
:
You have excellent analytical and summarising skills.
:
You will be able to communicate effectively, have good interpersonal skills and be a team player.
:
You are open to feedback and have a spirit of initiative and innovation.
