As Group Industrial Director, your primary mission is to take full ownership of the production and productivity of our European sites.
In a high-volume, low-margin environment, you will be the architect of our industrial efficiency with a strong result oriented mindset.
Your Mission:
Performance, Productivity & Growth
- Operational Performance:
Take full accountability for production output and productivity.
Drive and challenge site performance with hands-on operational execution aligned with strategic vision.
- Industrial Development & CAPEX:
Lead the sites CAPEX roadmap and oversee industrial projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and on budget.
- Process Standardization:
Enforce rigor and discipline in production and flow management.
- Industrial Strategy:
Define and deploy the Industrial Group strategy.
- Financial & Operational Monitoring:
In close partnership with Controlling, monitor key industrial KPIs (Gross Margin, COGS, Waste, and Transformation Costs).
Identify variances and execute decisive corrective action plans.
- Industrial Transformation:
Led by the Group IS Manager, ensure the digitalization of our plants ERP transformation, and instore a data-driven mindset
- Leadership & Safety:
Maintain a constant on site presence (70% travel) and drive managerial & safety excellence.
- Continuous Improvement:
Foster a collective Knowledge sharing to ensure best practices are harmonized across all production departments.
You will directly report to the CEO and be an active member of the Executive Committee (CODIR).
You will manage Site Directors (N-1) and team experts.
Candidate Profile
- 10+ years in large-scale manufacturing preferably in private Label is a priority or FMCG
- Proven track record in international roles within SMEs or family-owned mid-caps
Technical & Strategic Expertise
- Engineering degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Automation engineering.
- Extensive experience deploying Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives and driving large-scale industrial transformations.
Leadership & Soft Skills
- Ability to switch between hands-on field leadership and strategic steering.
- Strong human-centric approach to driving industrial excellence and discipline.
- Fluent English is mandatory.
Mobility & Commitment
- Willingness to travel extensively across Europe (70% of the time).
