My client are looking for a Futures Quantitative Trader with a minimum of 2 years of experience in either a bank or hedge fund environment in either strategy research or trading.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sophisticated trading strategies across various futures markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and implement quantitative trading strategies for futures markets.
Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify new trading opportunities.
Monitor and optimize trading algorithms to ensure peak performance.
Collaborate with other traders, quants, and developers to enhance existing strategies and create new ones.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, news, and regulatory changes impacting futures trading.
Requirements:
Ideally 3 years experience as a quantitative trader/researcher in a bank or hedge fund.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or C++.
In-depth understanding of futures markets and trading principles.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful trading strategies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced trading environment.
