We are seeking a Global VP ExternalRelations and Communication
to shape and amplify Sephora's voice on the international stage.
This pivotal role will be instrumental in developing and executing a comprehensive and proactive externalcommunication strategy, encompassing international media relations, leadership external interventions, corporate events, and crisis communications.
The Global VP ExternalRelations and Communication
will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and to strengthen and safeguard Sephoras brand image, aligning its values, vision, and strategic objectives.
Reporting directly to the Global CEO, this role will be a key driver in enhancing Sephoras influence and visibility globally.

International Media Relations:
:
Cultivate and nurture robust relationships with key journalists, editors, and opinion leaders internationally to ensure a profound understanding of Sephora's mission, values, and strategy.

Develop and implement proactive media relations strategies on key Corporate topics (purpose, sustainability, global projects, partnerships, etc.).

Craft compelling press releases and coordinate communication efforts with local teams to ensure alignment and consistency of messages across all markets.
Sephora Leadership Interventions:

Identify and capitalize on speaking opportunities for Sephora's executives, preparing engaging content (speeches, interviews, presentations) that deliver clear and powerful messages.
Corporate Events:
:
Conceptualize and execute strategic corporate events designed to elevate Sephoras reputation and engage key stakeholders.

Ensure optimal media visibility and impactful outcomes for all organized events.
Crisis Communications and Reputation Management:
:
Develop and implement comprehensive prevention and training plans to anticipate sensitive situations and crises.

Proactively and reactively manage crisis communications, formulating swift response strategies in close collaboration with all relevant stakeholders.

Monitor and analyze media coverage and trends to identify potential reputational risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.

A minimum of15 years of experiencein externalcommunications, public relations, and reputation management, with a deep understanding of the global media landscape.

Strong experience in international and multicultural environments, ideally in the USA.
