Based within the Engineering and Projects Center (DGA I&P) in Paris Balard, with 1100 engineers, you will ensure technical oversight and management of projects developing new systems for the armed forces, providing expertise in complex information systems architecture.
As part of a team managing an armament program, you will collaborate with the armed forces and industry to develop innovative and operational solutions to meet the diverse needs of the French military (aeronautics, naval, land, intelligence, space, etc.).
Your main tasks will include:
- Designing software and hardware architectures of information systems
- Collaborating with industrial partners and military teams to ensure solutions meet operational needs
- Ensuring system security and robustness while respecting performance, deadlines, and budget constraints
- Providing technical expertise to project managers by specifying and validating industrial services to meet military needs
Joining our projects allows you to directly contribute to designing strategic solutions for national defense, bringing major technological innovations to our complex information systems.
Occasional travel within mainland France may be required.
Candidate Profile
Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree (BAC+5) in information technology, engineering school or equivalent, specializing in information systems architecture and urbanization
- Previous experience in designing and integrating complex information systems is highly desirable
Technical Skills:
- Engineering of complex information systems
- Knowledge of designing technical architectures (software and hardware) and integrating systems suitable for critical environments
- Understanding of standards and quality/security requirements for information systems
- Ability to write technical requirements and specifications

Recruitment ProcessOur recruitment process involves three stages:
- Pre-qualification phone interview with HR (60 min)
- Technical phone interview (30 min)
- Final in-person interview at Paris-Balard (1h30) with potential supervisors
As the position may require access to classified information, the candidate will undergo a security clearance process in accordance with articles R.231
- 1 and following of the Defense Code and IGI n°1300 of August 9, 2021.
