We are looking for a highly analytical and technically proficient SourcingTransportationDataAnalyst to lead the data workstream of a large:
scale international express tender project.
This role spans the full lifecycle of a complex RFQ process, from data acquisition and cleaning to cost simulation, scenario modeling, and dashboard development.
The ideal candidate will work closely with sourcing, logistics, and technical teams to manage and analyze large volumes of transportationdata, optimize cost structures, and provide decision:
making support through insightful visualizations and modeling.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:
Data Discovery, Acquisition and Understanding
:
Define RFQ analysis objectives, catalogue and evaluate over 2,000 Excel sheets of rate cards, analyse 12 months of shipment and financial data for 600+ accounts.

Clarify carrier:
specific terminology and map rate structure
Data Cleaning, Structuring and Standardization
:
Clean inactive or irrelevant accounts and align them with shipment data
:
Standardise data using Excel Power Query, SQL, or Python
Baseline Simulation
:
Build cost simulation models that replicate real:
world carrier billing logic
RFQ Offer Analysis and Scenario Modeling
:
Process 2:
3 rounds of RFQ responses and standardise rate structures.
Dashboard Development
:
Build an interactive dashboard (Power BI/Tableau)
