The Network and SecurityEngineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and efficient network infrastructures.
The role includes technical expertise in network architecture, security protocols, incident management, and process optimization.
The position requires strong analytical skills, experience with modern network and security technologies, and the ability to work in Agile environments.Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain network and security infrastructures (LAN, WAN, firewalls, VPNs, etc.)Monitor and respond to network and security alerts, ensuring high availability and resilienceManage patching, vulnerability remediation, and compliance with security standardsProvide Level 3 technical support and manage complex incidentsSupport project teams with network and security expertise for new initiativesAutomate routine network and security tasks using scripting and orchestration toolsDocument network architectures, processes, and interventionsCollaborate with IT teams to integrate network and security solutions into business projectsParticipate in Agile (Scrum) processes and continuous improvement initiativesLiaise with vendors and external partners as neededMandatory skills:
Expertise in network infrastructure (Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent)Strong knowledge of security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, NAC)Experience with automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.)Incident management and troubleshooting skillsProcess documentation and optimizationAppreciated skills:
