Job Description
Reporting to the Areasalesmanager Distribution, you will be responsible of a dedicated Customer Portfolio or a sub region within Europe, Middle East and Africa area.
You will p
romote and sell Stepans products to potential customers within their specified territory, either directly or through Distributors, in line with company standards, and ensuring all sales targets are met.
Main responsibilities :
:
Responsible for building the best regional Channel to Market approach in line with Sales strategy :
Direct vs Indirect.
:
When applicable, manages, trains and empowers the distributors into executing the Sales Growth strategy.
:
Negotiates quarterly price supply agreement with regional customers and Distributors.
:
Fosters collaboration and mobilizes the organization to support Customer focused activities.
:
Establishes and develops close and durable relationships with customers.
:
Delivers the Commercial Targets :
Making the numbers.
:
Build a Territory Business Plan to exceed financial Targets.
:
Develops Commercial tactics in coordination with BM and Sales Director to deliver on Targets
:
Maintains customer records (call reports/history) in Salesforce CRM to required standards (within 1 week).
:
Updates regularly the SF opportunity list linked to the territory.
:
Updates forecast in SAP.
Qualifications
:
Qualified to degree level or equivalent in either chemistry or Business:
related area.
:
Must have 5 to 10 years experience in selling surfactants or technical solutions.
At ease with technical related matters.
Preferably know the markets.
( HI and I, personal care, homecare)
:
Diplomacy and experience of handling sales contracts would be an advantage.

Excellent communication skills at all levels of the business.

Fluent in English, other languages spoken within their territory desirable
