About the Role
We are seeking a SeniorTechnicalSalesManager with strong experience in the smart hardware / IoT / consumer electronics / payment terminal industry.
This role requires someone who can combine local market expertise, technical understanding, and strong commercial execution.
You will drive new business development, manage key customers and distributors, support solution design with technical teams, and execute end-to-end sales processes in the French-speaking region.
Key Responsibilities
1.Business Development & Customer Acquisition
Identify, approach, and develop new customers in France’s smart hardware and IoT ecosystem
Build strong relationships with technical, product, procurement, and business stakeholders
Drive the full cycle from demand discovery ? technical proposal ? commercial negotiation ? project launch
2.Technical Pre-Sales & Solution Support
Understand product architecture, hardware interfaces, connectivity technologies, and system workflows
Communicate technical requirements, integration constraints, and solution feasibility with customers
Translate customer needs into internal requirement documents and work with China-based R&D teams
3.Channel & Distributor Management
Manage and enable French and European distributors (e.g., Arrow, Avnet)
Lead product training, sales enablement, and joint market development activities
Track pipelines, push opportunities forward, and ensure quarterly business targets are met
4.Regional Coverage
Primary responsibility:
France
Secondary/extended markets:
Benelux, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, North Africa
Short business trips required depending on customer and project needs
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications
1.5+ years of sales or business development experience in France in one of the following sectors:
Smart hardware, IoT devices, consumer electronics
Payment terminals / POS
Connectivity modules, chips, embedded hardware
ODM/OEM or distributor ecosystem
2.Strong technical understanding:
able to discuss product features, interfaces, performance, and integration logic with customers
3.Proven track record in B2B solution sales:
Independently driving lead generation, deal negotiation, and closing
Managing mid - to long-cycle technical projects
4.Local customer resources (preferred):
Experience or existing network with Ingenico, Sagemcom, Netatmo, Withings, Parrot, or similar industry players
5.Experience working with distributors (Arrow, Avnet, etc.)
6.Self-driven, highly autonomous, and comfortable working from home Ability to collaborate across time zones with teams in China

Chinese-speaking or French-Chinese bilingual; Chinese background or study experience in France
