As a SeniorProductMarketingManager, you will lead productmarketing activities across the region to contribute to the achievement of the companys sales and profitability targets.
This role combines strategic leadership with hands:
on product and supplier management responsibilities.
You will manage and develop a team of ProductMarketingManagers while working closely with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to support long:
term growth and implement successful programs that benefit both Univar Solutions and our suppliers.
This is a highly commercial role with responsibility for driving business performance, developing supplier partnerships, and leading product strategies across the region.
What you'll do
:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of ProductMarketingManagers, providing direction, mentorship, and performance management.
:
Drive product management and commercial activities across the region to support revenue growth and profitability.
:
Manage strategic relationships with key suppliers, including pricing, business planning, and long:
term growth initiatives.
:
Develop and execute regional product and supplier strategies aligned with company objectives.
:
Support and lead supplier negotiations, including pricing and buying plans.
:
Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, finance, and marketing to implement effective commercial and operational strategies.
:
Partner with sales teams by providing market insights, training, and guidance on product positioning and opportunities.
:
Monitor business performance and support initiatives to improve profitability and market share.
:
Ensure alignment between supplier strategies, product management activities, and commercial execution.
:
Facilitate business growth through effective communication and coordination across internal teams and suppliers.
What you'll need
:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Chemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred) or equivalent experience.
:
Significant experience in product management, marketing, or sales, preferably within the pharmaceutical ingredients industry.
:
Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to manage, coach, and develop a team.
:
Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience supporting profitability and business growth.
:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to make strategic, data:
driven decisions.
:
Experience developing and managing relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders.
:
Ability to build strong cross:
functional relationships with teams such as Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Finance, and Supply Chain.
:
High level of decision:
making ability, balancing supplier needs and company objectives.
:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex and diverse workloads.
:
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
:
Fluency in English required; additional European languages are a plus.
:
Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems is preferred.
