At a very exciting time in the company's development in the context of significant market transition, we are looking for a smart, enthusiastic and with hands-on experience privacy professional to become Criteo's GroupDataProtectionOfficer to ensure compliance with the GDPR and other global dataprotection laws.
As Group DPO, you will be a key member of the Legal team.
You will manage Criteo's compliance with privacy laws globally and will collaborate closely with all relevant company functions (Product, Information Security, Human Resources).
You will establish yourself as the trusted privacy advisor providing valuable insights as they engage into various initiatives.This role is based in Paris.
Note that Criteo has a full flex work policy.You willBe the point of contact with the CNIL as registered DPO;Ensure regulatory compliance with the GDPR and other relevant dataprotection laws (maintain the register of processing activities, conduct DataProtection Impact Assessments and Legitimate Interest Analysis, respond to data subject requests, maintain privacy policies, develop training programs, handle incident reporting as needed); Monitor on-going regulatory and legislative developments on dataprotection and privacy on a global scale to properly advise the relevant teams on the latest developments and upcoming changes.Work closely with the Product, R&D and business teams to design Criteo's AI powered innovative advertising solutions that meet evolving business needs while applying a privacy-by-design approach;Provide support to the legal teams in charge of drafting and negotiating client, partner and supplier contracts;Handle investigations, disputes and litigations with the support of outside counsel.Who You Are:
A talented privacy expert with minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in a top tier law firm and/or or major corporation preferably within tech companies.Deep understanding of EU dataprotection regulation (GDPR, e-privacy, etc.) as well as a good understanding of US privacy laws (e.g.
CCPA) and of other major privacy frameworks and evolving legislation worldwide (UK, Brazil, Japan, India, Singapore, Korea, Australia).Understanding of privacy issues that relate to the digital advertising industry.Ability to establish effective cross-functional relationships in an international work environment and accommodate diverse personalities and cultures;Ability to navigate complexity and work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and adapt quickly to change business needs and/or priorities;Problem solver and solutions oriented, with a pragmatic - but always compliant approach;Superior communication skills translating complex compliance requirements to business partners in an easily understandable mannerFluency in French and English;Last but not least..
