We are looking for a a Legal Counsel position to join the EnergyServiceslegal team.
The main responsibilities of the role are:
Providing commercially oriented and solution based legal support and compliance advice to the business in a variety of business matters.
Reviewing, negotiating, drafting and advising on various types of transactions and commercial contracts.
Supporting the business in the development and implementation of business models and concepts.
Supporting compliance and governance management in the business.
Managing claims and disputes.
Providing training to the business on relevant legal and compliance issues.
Actively participating in the development and implementation of policies, work processes and templates.
The role of the appointee will require:
A law degree from an accredited law school.
A minimum of 5 years work experience in either an in-house or a private practice, having practiced law in an international environment.
Relevant experience includes corporate and commercial transactions in an international environment, including experience from developing contracting models, structuring cross-border projects and long-term service agreements and customer interactions.
Excellent command of English and French, both written and oral.
Excellent negotiation and influencing skills and ability to manage a variety of stakeholder networks.
Solid drafting, presentation, and communication skills.
You have the skills to translate complicated legal matters to business stakeholders in an understandable way.
Excellent time management skills:
ability to navigate through different priorities, between the big picture and details - while seeing where one can best add value for the business.
