Portfolio Manager of a French SCPI launched end of 2022 and investing in Industrial and Logistics assets across Europe The role consists in managing a pan-European portfolio currently composed of 9 assets and implementing the investment & asset management strategy throughout Europe to grow the fund and achieve the targeted distribution.

The role will be in daily direct contact with our client (French AIFM, the Fund Management company of the SCPI).

The role is supported by an Analyst.

Reporting line :

Head of Transactions & Portfolio Management, France What You'll Do Here are some things you will be doing:

Transaction Review new deal opportunities with the local transaction teams (Germany, Spain, Italy, Portugal, UK, the NL and France) Review & challenge deal underwriting (cash flows, analysis, rationale..

.

) Coordinate deal presentation to the client with the analyst Review (mark-up) of indicative bids/LoI/Head of Terms Review of DD findings (with a critical approach), discussions with transaction team and consolidation of findings for the client Review of the SPA / Deeds of sale Coordination of deal execution Asset Management Regular exchanges with local asset management teams to implement the asset management strategies at asset levels (reletting, CAPEX) Review of the quarterly asset management reporting prepared by the asset managers and the analyst of the Fund Manager Review, consolidation and analysis of CAPEX and OPEX budgets together with the analyst & the financial controlling team Portfolio/Fund Management Bi-annual update of the business plan through discussion with asset management teams Liaise with client's fund management team on regular update of the business plan and inclusion of the acquisition pipeline Review of various analysis prepared by the analyst (reletting scenarios, arrears analysis) Anticipate bank financing needs Implement bank financings (RFP, review/negotiation of term sheets, review/negotiation of loan agreement, coordination with client and lawyers) Following this, organisation of loan covenant follow-up that will be prepared by the analyst Client relation Weekly transaction calls with the client (pipeline presentation, discussion on major DD findings etc) Quarterly meetings with the client on main general topics (reletting, major works projects, ESG follow up, budgets, etc) Daily discussions with the client (top management, fund management team, accounting team) on various topics ESG Support the client in implementing the Fund's ESG strategy (Label ISR).

Preparation and involvement in the annual ISR audit meeting Organise of ESG audits carried out at asset level as part of the label (tendering and selection or service providers, scheduling, monitoring and review of the reports) Ensure that SRI grids are properly updated with the assistance of the analyst and organization of data reporting to the client Financial controlling Supervise the local financial controllers Review/discuss on material controlling findings (arrears, actual vs budgeted) Coordinate answers to financial advisors/auditor's and client's requests when necessary Who You Are Higher education degree (Bac5 / Master 2) from a business school, an engineering school or a Finance/Real Estate University Master 7 years of experience in the real estate industry, preferably on a Portfolio Management position and on regulated vehicles (SCPI, OPCI, FIA) Experience in Transaction Management is necessary Good knowledge of the European financial & real estate market Excellent analytical, synthesis & communication skills Native French & fluent English are required, additional European languages are a plus Experience in management is desirable (analyst) Very good command of the Office suite, especially modelling skills in Microsoft Excel.

Experience with Argus and Yardi are desirable.
