About the role:
The Service Engineer is responsible for:
field start-up and commissioning support for our products.
This will include supporting customers by isolating defects in the field or via in-house testing, and troubleshooting by phone, email or on-site.
solving problems and setting deadlines to ensure work is completed efficiently, on time and under budget; identifying solutions; and suggesting improvement methods and techniques.
will further support OCEM's Project Managers with product life cycle, development, testing, troubleshooting and installation.
Additional duties shall include:
coordinating AGL maintenance activities in the field, evaluating and planning unscheduled activities for electrical works as requested by airport operations, and contributing to senior-level relationship with airport operations team.
Listens to the â??Voice of the Customer' (VOC) from the field and draws indications from it to identify criticalities and opportunities for both the Commercial and Engineering Area; Technical-commercial visits to the customer in support of the sales area manager Conducting training at the head quarter or the end customer Have good adaptability and know how to work in different and multicultural environments Travel mainly in French-speaking areas (Europe and Africa) The role involves significant travel, which is estimated at up to 70 % of time spent About the profile The ideal candidate will:
Have a good understanding of and experience in working as part of a services team Have about 3 years of experience as a field technician, ideally in an airfield/airport context Be fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.
Knowledge of other languages a plus as additional assignments may arise in other markets Be a confident, customer-focused, service-minded and target-oriented problem solver Be flexible and a team player with good interpersonal skills Have a European Passport OCEMAirfield Nice Expérience souhaitée
