As part of HadassahInternational Strategic Plan, a major focus continues to be expanding in geographies of major fundraising potential in the framework of the Donor without Borders (DWB) initiative.
In addition to that, the Strategic Plan includes the reinforcement and support of existing units in Europe such as France with huge potential for fundraising in the level of DWB initiative.
In order to develop this initiative, HadassahInternational needs to hire a full-time consultant to work in France/French Speaking countries and build and increase the fundraising capacity as part of the DWB initiative.
The fundraiser's task in France/French Speaking countries will be to develop HadassahInternational's philanthropic activity in the region, raise significant amount of funds by creating and constantly expanding the network of donors.
The ideal candidate will be an outgoing relationship-builder that is responsible for all partnerships and fundraising related to the organization In France and French Speaking countries.
Principal Functions:
· Build portfolio of high net worth prospects in France/ French Speaking countries to identify, cultivate, and solicit to support HadassahInternational projects.
· Follow up, expand, and build relationships with corporate executives in France/ French Speaking countries.
· Focus on Hadassah's International Donors Without Borders project fundraising needs and development issues.
· Serve as the HadassahInternational representative in escorting and exposing donors and potential donors to HadassahInternational projects.
· Establish contacts with key pharmaceutical and other international companies to explore opportunities for establishing relationships with, and connections to, HMO and other HadassahInternational projects · Continue to identify, cultivate, and solicit contacts.
· Working in developing public relations in France/ French Speaking countries for HadassahInternational projects.
· Expect to travel every month, planning trips in consultation with HI Executive Director and in a way that will make an efficient and rational use of the travelling budget Desirable Qualifications 1.
Competence and experience At least five years of experience in the international not-for-profit business sector with emphasis on major gift fundraising.
Hands-on experience in Board management and capital campaigns.
Proven management skills in devising programs or projects that respond to the needs of donors across a wide range of professions and cultures.
Experience in developing strategic plans, preparing and controlling budgets and key performance indices.
Substantial and demonstrable fundraising experience in the areas of corporate and charitable trusts/foundations.
Have ability to work in a team, ability to communicate well with leadership volunteers and staff, and sensitivity to donor relations management.
Knowledge and/or position in the local Jewish community are desirable.

Fully fluent in English/French.
Other languages are a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Willing to work flexible hours and undertake travel as required.
