Improves accounting processes.Monitors actual results of financial data against plans, forecasts, and budgets.

Determines trends and explains financial results.

Prepare detailed reports and presentations for review by all levels of management.

Consolidates operating and financial projections for the development of short-term and long-term business plans.

(Experience:

Greater than 5 years)QUALIFICATIONS Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Attributes
* Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
* CPA accounting designation or equivalent (or in progress).
* Ability to interpret and apply financial policies, processes, and related acts/regulations.
* Experience in the use and implementation of Hyperion, T4M and SAP is preferred.
* Ability to leverage technology to prepare sophisticated documents, financial reports, spreadsheets, and presentations using a variety of software tools including Oracle Financials and MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Knowledge of data organization and record keeping of the financial records and in relations to an audit.
* Communications skills to prepare presentations, charts and documents and present them to non-technical audiences.
* Minimum of 3 years of general accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.DESIRABLE ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (Optional)
- Preferred but not required.
* Knowledge of CMI/Trans4M would be an asset.
* Good knowledge of staff administration principles and all office functions.
* Automotive manufacturing experience.MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assist in the analysis and reviews of data related to the ERP system implementation (., account balances, details of transactions for actual, budget or forecast data).
* Import/export data between different systems to ensure data migration for the implementation of the ERP in the finance and procurement related modules.
* Work on data cleansing for the purposes of the import/export of data related to the implementation of ERP.
* Work with the Integration & IT team to ensure business requirements are implemented and ERP solution finance and procurement modules are configured appropriately.
* Assist in researching legislative requirement, internal policy, and audit requirements in the process of creating, editing, and maintaining finance and procurement related functions within the ERP solution.
* Support the creation and updating of financial policies, procedures, processes, and flow diagrams.
* Support other team members in Finance during the time of audit for preparation of supporting documents and analysis.
* Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders in updating, documenting, and testing new processes to respond to audit requirements/findings.
* Identify, plan, and implement key projects to increase productivity on time spent on various finance tasks/deliverables.
* Facilitate meetings, manage projects to meet needs of other departments with regards to financial data/reporting
* Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statement packages and ensure for accuracy
* Provide back-up support for other staff within the Finance department, as needed
* Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statement packages and ensure for accuracy
* Prepare and submit all standard report as requested by Controller
* Develop and maintain good procedures and systems for all required financial tracking
* Liaison with other departments as needed
* Perform all duties and promote themselves in a manner that reflects client's expectations and client's visions/values through Clients' Employee Charter
* Monitors and contributes to continuous improvement along with cost reduction activities
* Safeguard all financial documents and keep all financial matters private and confidential
* Attends training based on client's Internal Training Matrix
* Adheres to all client's safety rules and regulations
* Is familiar with client's policies and procedures
* Any other reasonable request by management
* Performs all job functions abiding by the office/work standards, policies, and procedures as outlines in the company handbook.
* Performs all job functions in alignment with IATF 16949 quality management standards and ISO 14001
* Actively participates in continuous improvement
* Maintain 5S standards in working environment
* Attend training based on client's internal training matrix
* Performs all job functions in a safe, healthful, and environmentally conscious manner, abiding by all health, safety and environment rules and regulations as outlined in the company handbook
* Performs other duties as assigned or any reasonable request by management.

WORKING CONDITIONS & EFFORTEnvironment, physical, mental and team efforts and other work requirements
* Mainly an office environment that is climate controlled
* At times, a manufacturing plant environment may be required which is a high-risk working area and not climate controlled.

Personal protection equipment is provided by the company and must be worn at all times.
