What would you be doing? The BusinessDevelopmentManager supports the growth and profitability of the business through the development and maintenance of new and existing business relationships related to short - and long-term sales activity within their assigned region.
The incumbent will be expected to work closely with all facilities within their region, and the ConvertusGroup team, to understand the unique business needs so that they are able to evaluate, identify and coordinate new clients and/or markets for our products and services.
What are we looking for on your CV? Minimum of 5 years experience of working in a similar role, ideally in the waste management industry or public sector, including participating in Municipal and Commercial bid processes Post-Secondary education in business, marketing or related field is an asset Excellent IT literacy with high proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint Dynamic personality with an ability to develop strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external Strong track record of business-to-business sales, including direct negotiations with customers.
