About the Role
The Coordinator, Finance & Operations coordinates, trains and advises on financial transaction processing, account reconciliations, analysis and budget preparation.
The incumbent coordinates building maintenance services, safety & security administration and other operations projects supporting building management and staff wellness.
The incumbent works with Facilities Management, Financial Services, other SFU departments and external contacts to carry out these duties.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, and two years of related experience in financial and operational administration, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Good knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Good knowledge of the University's Collective Agreements and general and administrative policies, procedures, and processes.
Excellent organizational, analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal, written and presentation) skills.
Ability to manage operations/administrative activities.
Ability to work with high volumes of work, set priorities and meet strict deadlines, while maintaining a high level of accuracy. What We Offer
