Weekends (4 hour shifts)We lead the industry by providing value-added cleaning solutions to our clients and we differentiate by taking care and empowering our people.
Job Skills / Requirements The exteriorcleaner is responsible for cleaning tasks in exterior areas of a building (parking lots, sidewalks, entranceways, loading docks, etc.) including dusting, spot cleaning, emptying and cleaning ashtrays and emptying and cleaning waste receptacles.Duties:
Daily• Unlock parking and loading bay gates• Litter picking the parking lot• Compacting garbage and cardboard• Litter picking areas such as planters and around trees• Use the power sweeper to clean the parking lot or sidewalks, entrance ways, and loading docks as required• Use the pressure washer to clean the entrances and sidewalks, temperature permitting• Clean exterior sidewalks and entranceways• Replace garbage bags and clean ashtrays on garbage cans• Sweep down steps and ramps – look for tripping hazards and broken rails• Sweep and check loading bays for safety• Clean entrance landscaping and litter pick gardensWeekly• Wash metal and painted surfaces of posts and bollards• Check operations of compactors and secure gates/wash underneath• Check parking lot and stair lighting• Note and replace broken sign and sign postsPeriodicSnow Removal Responsibilities:
• When there is a snowfall or icy conditions on-site, snow clearing and/or salting of the property is the highest priority• All sidewalks and crosswalks are to be de-iced and shovelled to remove any snow and ice buildup• Staff will remove snow and de-ice all entrances, sidewalk areas, walkways, crosswalks• Removing snow at the entrances, sidewalks, ramps, roadways using plow blade and shovels• Other duties assigned by the Site Supervisor and/or Site ManagerRequirements• Valid and current driver’s license (Class 5 or 7)• Experience operating ride-on equipment and machinery• Experience operating compactors• Comfortable working outdoors (winter gear/uniforms provided) Additional Information / Benefits Flexible ScheduleEasy access to manager at all timesTraining Everclean AbbotsfordBritishColumbia
