About This OpportunityNorth End CommunityHealthCentre is looking for a full-time Family Physician to join their interdisciplinary team of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Family Practice Nurses, Social Workers, Shared Care Mental Health, Dietitians and more, providing care in a collaborative care model.
This is a professionally managed clinic, provides billing and administrative support, and is fully integrated into an EMR system.
Overhead will be covered by the clinic.
The clinic also operates a PAUSE program, which provides low-barrier mental health walk-in or call-in support services two days per week, as well as a Mobile Outreach Street Health clinic team.

Examine patients and take their histories, order diagnostic tests and laboratory procedures; Advise patients on health care, health promotion, and disease prevention; Consultation and referral to other medical practitioners Act as a patient’s advocate Prescribe and administer medications and treatments, inoculations and vaccinations Report births, deaths, contagious and other diseases as per NovaScotia Public Health requirements Expected HoursFull-time, 1.0 FTEQualifications Eligible for Licensure with the (CPSNS) Eligible for certification with the (CFPC) (CMPA) NovaScotiaHealthAuthority HalifaxNovaScotia
