GeneralInternistwithExpertise in Research Division of General Internal Medicine Department of Medicine Dalhousie University / NovaScotia Health Halifax, NovaScotia The Department of Medicine at Dalhousie University / NovaScotia Health is currently accepting applications for a GeneralInternist position withexpertise in research, within the Division of General Internal Medicine at the QEII Health Sciences Centre in Halifax, NovaScotia.
Role Description:
The successful candidate will be an integral part of the inpatient and outpatient clinical care team, actively contributing to the Clinical Teaching Units and taking part in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.
This position places particular emphasis on researchexpertise, with up to 50% protected time.
Candidates must have completed a 4 - or 5-year residency program in Internal Medicine / General Internal Medicine and hold specialty certification in Internal Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (or equivalent).
Royal College General Internal Medicine Subspecialty certification is an asset.
Eligibility for licensure in NovaScotia is required.
