Position overview We are looking for someone to join our Learning & Development team who has exceptional problem-solving skills and innovative thinking to develop learning systems such as an online new hire onboarding portal using Unity and gamification and SharePoint/WordPress based learning content portals.
Key responsibilities include:
Creating a localized work environment including the database, source code, as well as hardware and software components for learning systems and products Designing, implementing and maintaining code Reviewing and troubleshooting various online and Cloud based learning systems Conducting usability testing with end users Actively learning and seeking out ways to continuously improve Key qualifications include:
At least five years recent, relevant experience, supplemented by an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field; or an equivalent combination of training and experience Demonstrated experience working within a software development team via a standard SDLC or Agile Scrum, with aspect and tasked based architecture, and with integrating hardware and software Excellent verbal and written communication skills HTML, HTML5, CSS Exposure to SharePoint, WordPress and Unity Curious, analytical, resourceful, and motivated self-starter Who We Are YVR is more than just an airport.
