Your Opportunity:
Reporting to the Program Manager, the Inpatient Manager facilitates the day to day clinical operational needs for the Eating Disorder inpatient unit within the Calgary Eating Disorder Program.
The essential components of this management position are administrative and clinical activities.
Working as a member of the management team, the Inpatient Manager provides daily support to the multi-disciplinary team regarding decisions that enhance patient care and clinical best practice.
The Inpatient Manager assists the program manager in program planning & development, and in allocating human and financial resources to support services objectives and quality patient care.
The Inpatient Manager coordinates the effective implementation of program development activities within the inpatient unit using knowledge and skill in change management processes.
The position requires solid understanding of the system and effective collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders, while also serving as a role model for family centered care, respectful relationships, and positive communication.Description:

Knowledge and experience in managing unionized employees.
Ability to identify and problem solve for quality patient care.
Experience with Eating Disorders and/or other complex mental health diagnoses.
Understanding of group therapy, family therapy and/or medical management of an eating disorder patient population.
