QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Training And ExperienceLicensed by, or eligibility for licensing by the College of Pharmacists of BritishColumbia.
Completion of an Accredited Pharmacy Residency.
Completion of relevant MedicationSafety Courses and two (2) years clinical pharmacist experience in a hospital setting and recent, related experience in implementing medicationsafety initiatives.Skills And AbilitiesDemonstrated proficiency and accomplishments in the delivery of Pharmaceutical Care.Demonstrated expertise and ability in medicationsafety.Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.Provide professional leadership, teach, coach and mentor staff.Organize work, establish priorities and meet deadlines.Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, staff, other health care providers and agencies.Resolve problems and conflicts.Promote and foster good public relations.Operate related equipment, including computerized systems.Physically and emotionally carry out the duties of the position.
