The NightAuditor is responsible for all daily balancing, postings and nightly controls pertaining to the operations of the departments at the Wickaninnish Inn.
The NightAuditor is the sole worker during the evening hours and is expected to maintain the standards of the Wickaninnish Inn and therefore must possess exemplary telephone skills, math skills and must thrive on providing guest service excellence.
Objectives:
• Compile and check daily record sheets including POS balancing, final balancing of departments, guest accounts, receipts and vouchers • Take and process reservations calls; maintain inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments • Welcome and register arriving guests, answer enquiries regarding the Inn's services and registration by telephone, email and written correspondence, and in person • Provide information about services available in the community • Present statement of charges to departing guests, receive payments, and receive and respond to guests' comments and complaints • Assist on the Guest Reception desk in the capacity of a Guest Service Representative whenever necessary and be able to handle the cash preparations for the team members of the Inn • Some duties may change due to COVID-19 operating regulations/standards.
Salary is $23 per hour, and hours of work will be between 11:
15pm and 7:
15am.
Staff accommodation is available.
Wages may be increased due to annual salary reviews, provincial minimum wage changes or at the employer's discretion.
