PEOPLESOFTDEVELOPER | REMOTE (CANADA) The SelectGroup is looking for a talented PeoplesoftDeveloper to join one of our top Telecommunications partners.
This PeoplesoftDeveloper will perform coding and application package configuration to maintain client instances on their Peoplesoft platform.
PEOPLESOFTDEVELOPER REQUIREMENTS Must have a minimum of 7 years PeopleSoft 9.x HCM (Human Capital Management) Payroll and PeopleSoft development, Time & Leave & support experience is desired Advanced Design (UML/Object Modeling) and application programming.
Intermediate Production System Support, Component/Assembly Testing Skills.
Advanced Ability to work independently within a defined scope of responsibility and have a sound understanding of the interfacing applications across the enterprise within portfolio/vertical and how they interrelate.
Advanced Research, analytical, problem solving, decision making, priority management skills and risk analysis skills.
Advanced Interpersonal, communication, (verbal and written), presentations, solid consulting, and customer communications skills.
Advanced Capable of estimating costs on a project.
Understands revenue or cost implications of events within a customer project or contract, able to provide cost benefit analysis, including an understanding of the customer vertical.
PEOPLESOFT DEVEVLOPER RESPONSIBILITIES Perform complex coding and application (package) configuration including enhancements and break fi x.
Performs difficult and complex assignments.
Organize coding requirements, coordinate and perform component and assembly test plans, including conditions, data and expected results.
May lead and/or mentor small group of developers in resolving issues, developing, evaluating software code and procedures and providing technical assistance.
Anticipate, identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting own work/team work, through the change management methodology and/or SDLC.
Identify risks inherent in the project module or application and develop mitigation tactics.
