Our Toronto based University client is looking for an experienced SecurityRiskConsultant to join their information security team.
In this role, the successful candidate will be heavily involved with defining, designing, and implementing a new risk framework.
Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of experience with developing project plans and risk management programs, as well as overseeing and deploying security projects.
What you’ll be doing:
Develop project plan by defining scope, timeline, risk, and roll-out Manage project progress and ensure deliverables are being met on schedule Proactively assess and plan for potential risks Develop mitigation plan for any identified risks Provide regular progress reports to relevant stakeholders, including management team Act as an internal advisor for the university by outlining securityrisk framework, standards, and guidelines Liaise with variety of internal stakeholder teams, including Legal, other IT teams across campus, and SME’s Must Have:
Post-Secondary education in Information Technology, or related 5+ years working in a Information SecurityRisk Management projects Experience with NIST frameworks, including but not limited to NIST CSF and NIST 800-53 Security certifications, such as CISM or CRISC Knowledge of dashboarding tools like PowerBI and Tableau Experience working in an educational institution is an asset PMP or Scrum Master designations is an asset PowerStaffingSolutions TorontoOntario
