At the Child and Parent Resource Institute (CPRI) we provide highly specialized trauma-informed mental health and developmental services.

These services include Assessment, Consultation, Treatment, Research and Education.

We work with local community services, building on what they have already done and use evidence based practices to adapt our approach to the unique needs of each child.

Provide occupational therapy services in the form of assessment, program planning, treatment and follow-up to clients using occupational therapy techniques and your professional expertise, skills and innovation Provide consultation, clinical guidance/education to parents, guardians, and outside agencies to establish appropriate programming and follow-up on the rehabilitation of clients and improve CPRI programs Design individual or group programming for staff to implement with occupational therapy clients Participate in established clinical research projectsHow do I qualify?Mandatory You are registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario You have graduated from a course in occupational therapy from a university of recognized standing or an approved training course of equivalent standing You are able to travel within the service areaKnowledge You have applied knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and specific professional expertise to provide occupational therapy services in the form of assessment, program planning, treatment and follow-up You have an understanding and relevant experience with a consultation service delivery model.Communication Skills Excellent communication skills ensuring communication amongst team members and community You are able to teach clinical skills to therapists and/or community personsOrganizational Skills You are able to organize, prioritize and schedule clients while working independently to carry out occupational therapy servicesAnalytical & Reasoning Skills You have analytical and reasoning skills to establish, on a multi-disciplinary level, appropriate therapeutic goals and design individual or group programmingAdditional Information:
