Adecco is currently hiring for a full-time, Senior Pricing Analyst, to work a 1-year contract for our client, a globally competitive integrated energy company located in Calgary, AB.

In this role, you will support value creation by managing pricing data, advising on global market trends, and providing strategic recommendations to ensure the company’s commercial competitive advantage and maximize profitability.

Monday to Friday | 8 AM – 5 PM Job type:

1-Year Contract | Full-time Duties and Responsibilities:

Facilitate effective representation of the organization’s needs when engaging key suppliers of critical pricing apps, including managing outstanding technical and product issues, managing the effective use of procured consulting (professional services) hours and driving an effective peer group Customer Advisory Board Enable consistent touchpoints between suppliers and the organizational user base, including planning for onsite events and other workshops, presentations, and tutorials Ensure that supplier Onboarding is effective and supports the broader ST&O onboarding/offboarding guidance Supporting the alignment between ST&O’s strategy and the supplier product roadmap, including the capture and communicating of internal user experience to supplier to influence desired features to be developed Maintaining the Pricing and Market Intelligence vendor data repository Ensure that meaningful information can be extracted from this system via data tools (e.g.

PowerBI).

This includes support for contract renewals, new products enablement, licensing hygiene and supporting D&IT/SCM in resolving outstanding invoices Optimize the suite of pricing and market intelligence tools that meet ST&O’s functional needs to ensure excellence in usability, reliability, and timeliness Obtain an understanding of vendor relationships, roadmap & current contractual obligations, penalties, etc, related to services, licensing, & master agreements Requirements and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is required An advanced degree or MBA is preferred Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role is needed, preferably within the oil and gas industry Proven experience with financial modeling, data analysis, and pricing models in the crude oil commodities market is a must Commercial experience in technology contracts and vendor management is required A deep knowledge of pricing and risk management in a commodities trading environment is required Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills are crucial for success in this role Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced and volatile market environment Must have exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present complex data Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
