About the Company:
Our NorthVancouver-based client is looking for a Senior Accountant for a 3 month contract-to-hire engagement.
This role is 100% based onsite.
The role:
The Senior Accountant will be part of the accounting team and responsible for:
Working with the Controller on financial reporting and account reconciliations that adhere to ASPE and US GAAP Preparing month-end financial statements and performing variance analysis Preparing accruals for month-end and ensuring that adjustments are being made as part of the reconciliation process Extracting financial data from the ERP system into Excel Preparing PowerPoint presentation decks and regional financial reports for senior leadership, including providing commentary on variances Reviewing work performed by the more junior team members Skills:
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field CPA designation 4+ years as a Senior Accountant Strong technical knowledge of ASPE and US GAAP Advanced Excel user (pivot tables, v-lookups) If you are an experienced accounting and financial professional, please apply to RobertHalf Management Resources today.
