You are an experienced software engineer who is interested in designing and developing comprehensive solutions to support and facilitate business operations.
You have a strong understanding of back-end and front-end technologies and have experience implementing highly functional solutions that can scale. You have a passion for good user experience and know how to ensure user needs are met through agile development and stakeholder engagement.

The Sanofi Digital Data Team uses a hybrid working model combining remote and office-based work.
The Canada Digital Data Hub offices will be located in the greater downtown area of Toronto. Key Responsibilities:
Fluency and experience in the design thinking process.Facilitate design thinking workshops, conduct UX exercises (user flow/workflow, story mapping) and document the process and outcomes.Design end-to-end VisualAnalytics solutions to meet business needs.Produce low - and high-fidelity wireframes for interactive data visualization dashboards, AI and analytics solution applications.Ensure understandability, usability and user-friendliness of visualanalytics solutions by pro-actively implementing design best practices and challenging user-requirements.Facilitate playback sessions with business to present the outcomes of processes, work through iterative cycles, incorporate feedback, complete user testing and quality checks, and hand over assets to the development team.Manage expected scope and effort within the set timeline.Work in close collaboration with the Product Managers, Developers, Data Analysts, Data Engineers, System Administrators to ensure that solution exhibits high levels of performance, scalability, maintainability, appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment.Develop and share style guides and templates for the Reporting COE to promote best practices, and set standards for a unified experience across all data visualization products.Remains up to date on company’s standards, industry practices and emerging standards.Prepare and maintain training material and SOPs, knowledge base articles and technical documentation.Manage and prioritize multiple initiatives while adapting to changing business conditions.Key Requirements:

Strong bias for action and results.Understand and apply design best practices to the visual display of information.Capable of navigating ambiguity and facilitate discussions to arrive at innovative design solutions.Desires to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment; ability to manage multiple priorities.Ability to work independently as well as in a team with a proven ability to influence.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with the ability to listen, articulate positions, and advocate designs to stakeholders at all levels.Knowledge of pharmaceutical and healthcare data is a plus.A university / college degree or equivalent work experience in design.Proficient with UX/UI design tools such as Figma (or other prototyping tools), collaboration tools such as Miro to generate and iterate prototypes, wireframes, user flow, user journey and story mapping.Proficient in non-traditional design tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.Dynamic design portfolio that shows your design process, and products demonstrating successful application of Information design principles (please include in job application).Expertise in design methodology and implementation, specifically to persona mapping, requirements gathering through user stories, KPI identification and wireframing, and demonstrating user flows with clickable rapid design prototypes.Knowledge of Sanofi’s enterprise visualization tools (Power BI and Tableau) is a plus.Sanofi is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
