You will be responsible for monitoring network performance and identifying bottlenecks to take action to improve network performance.
Your responsibilities Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches and firewalls.
Monitor and analyze network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement actions to improve network performance Configuration, installation and maintenance of network and server hardware.
Administration and monitoring of VPN and remote desktop connections.
Implement network security measures, including firewall rules and access controls.
Coordinate with other IT team members to assist in the implementation of new technologies and systems.
Create and maintain network documentation and configuration files.
Assist in troubleshooting IT issues and implementing system upgrades.
Your profile Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken (at least B2 level).
Completed training or studies in the field of computer science or a comparable qualification.
Relevant professional experience in medium-sized companies, with distributed locations.
Experience in project planning and service provider management Very good knowledge of network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/VPN) and administration of corporate networks.
Good knowledge in the support of firewalls (Sophos an advantage).
Experience in the administration of Windows networks in hybrid Azure environments (Windows Server 2012R2 - 2022, Windows 10/11).
Knowledge in IT architecture for servers and clients Experience in the administration of virtual infrastructures Knowledge in the creation and support of backup and disaster recovery concepts.
