Role:
Working closely with the system hardware and software architects, you will define the features of next:
generation products based on marketing requirements.
You will be supported by modelling and implementation experts, to ensure the performance and cost of the solution.
Responsibilities:
-Analyze AI and HPC use case requirements, bottlenecks, technology trends, and the competitive landscape.
-You will propose features that optimize the performance of HPC applications running on a supercomputer cluster integrating a high:
performance network.
-Driving innovations in RDMA:
based technologies for Ethernet or HPC beyond the state of the art.
-Create innovative, highly competitive and effective solutions to customer problems within technological and budgetary constraints.
-Prepare performance projections and cost estimates to support the decision:
making process at each stage of the project.
-Provide clear, effective and qualitative architecture specification documents.
Drive the architecture quality assurance process.
-Work closely with RTL design, verification and software teams to optimize the solution.
Support the development team at every stage of the ASIC design flow.
-Working closely with European research centres and start:
ups to define the next generation of interconnection technologies.
Requirements:
-Bac+5 or doctorate, engineering school or university.
-10+ years of hardware development experience, preferably in an HPC or datacentre context.
-Strong knowledge of large:
scale and distributed workloads such as AI training, scientific simulation, etc.
-Proven experience in creating simple, effective architecture that solves a customer problem.
-Practical :
able to create a demonstrator, prototype or executable specification (SystemC, C, C++, Python).
-Excellent communication skills suitable for different audiences (e.g.
RTL designer, verification engineer, software developer, researcher, marketing, etc.).
-Innovative, rigorous with a solid methodology.
Analytical skills, autonomy, good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
-Fluency in English, French is a plus
