Support Category Purchasing Managers to secure the supply of the Gypsum plants at the best quality, delay & cost conditions.
Follow the performance of centrally managed suppliers in a way of continuous improvement approach.
will support Raw material Category Purchasing Managers (CPM) in his/her daily tasks on some key categories :
- Analyze the SG needs by collecting data from the countries - Sourcing/screening the market to find new suppliers for existing categories and their alternatives, - Follow (if needed) the technical tests in liaison with R&D - Launch a global tender by using the SG e-tool - Analyze offers, prepare and participate to the negotiations with the CPM - Redistribute volume allocations from Suppliers between the SG plants - Prepare contract redaction in liaison with SG legal department - Contribute to the CO2 mapping, launch actions & follow-up on CO2 scope 3 towards the carbon neutrality goal in 2050 - Help the CPM to prepare Budget and Rolling Forecast price assumptions will have the responsibility on 1-2 categories (under CPM supervision).
may work on specific projects related to purchasing optimizations.
The Saint-GobainGypsum Central Purchasing team is in charge to purchase of raw materials showing synergies at central level.
