As a Purchasing Assistant, you will be primarily working with the Purchasing Manager Raw materials& the ContractManufacturing Manager Your responsibilities will include:
Provide various ad-hoc analyses, i.e.
price analyses,supplier research, sourcing& market analysis Manage RFQs for ad'hoc projects (analysis of current situation, requirements definition, creation of RFQ documents, follow-up with suppliers, offer analysis and recommendations) Identify cost savings via supplier research and RFQs in order to fulfill the pipeline of project for next year.
Own and update forecast files for finance and planning:
collect data from various sources, update and improve excel spreadsheets and communicate to the team.
Follow a cost saving project implementation for chemicals and/or finished goods:
attend team meetings, arrange samples with suppliers, follow trials with R&D and collect data, implement the supplierto be ready to order.
Maintain SAP:
invoice control and release, contracts creation and update, purchase ordercreations, specifications maintenance with R&D Background & Experience Master's Degree in Purchasing/Business/Economics Good knowledge of Excel; PowerPoint and facultative:
SAP Fluent in English (ability to communicate by email and handle basic conversations with suppliers and colleagues).
