Our client, a Global Bank, is currently recruiting an Analyst for their ShippingFinance team based in Paris .
Responsibilities:
Support RMs in originating (e.g.
preparation of marketing presentations), structuring (e.g.
financial analysis and projections, credit application) and executing structured finance transactions.
Provide basis to RMs, senior member of the team, management and stakeholders from other department for making decisions on appropriate strategies for each potential transaction.
Analyse credit, financial and legal aspects of new transactions, and document it appropriately, and making suggestions on appropriate course of action.
Coordinate with external parties (clients, lawyers) and internal ones (credit, agency, compliance, back office..
.
) to achieve successful closing and contribute to the yearly budget of the department.
Monitor existing transactions over an assigned portfolio, and support other team members in such activities over their assigned portfolio to manage risk and assess financial performance of clients/transactions.
Proactively identify and follow all necessary compliance and internal procedures required by filling out necessary forms, making enquiries etc.
in order to ensure full compliance with the Bank's procedures.
