Key Responsibilities:
Interact on a daily basis with the manufacturing teams, participate in the training of new recruits, play an expert role in the choice of fabrication process and methods.
Analyse any faults or process problems, propose and carry out optimisations in the manufacturing method, validate them and then ensure that they are effectively implemented in the projects.
Master the operation of equipment to provide support and technical expertise in the event of breakdowns or malfunctions, or during the development of new recipes.
Propose improvements to the equipment pool, define new requirements and specifications, and monitor the implementation of new structures.
Requirements:
Masters Degree or PhD in relevant field At least 10 years experience (PhD inclusive) in the field of clean-room manufacturing of optoelectronic semiconductor components:
lithography methods, photoresists, dielectric deposition, dry etching (ICP, RIE) and chemical etching, metal deposition, plasmas etc.
Strong commitment, willingness and eagerness to find effective and pragmatic solutions.
