Role purpose:
Increase the commercial performance of the region through all revenue streams.
Working within the commercial team and reporting to Chief Commercial officer this role is responsible for managing the marina sales process, customer retention plan and implementing negotiation and renegotiation strategies for Charter Partners.
Key accountabilities & Decision ownership Accountable for all commercial aspects of engagement with private clients and Charter partners.
Reviewing existing contracts - analysis, negotiation, governance and closure.
Accountable for ensuring business objectives are aligned with each commercial deal Managing front office team Ensure collaboration with marketing function Responsible for managing the commercial plan, interfaces, progress updates and reporting in alignment to all negotiations Provision of all commercial deliverables (eg negotiation plan, contract risk analysis, benefits analysis and contract creation and closure) Managing complex contracts Ensure proper training and skills for the front office teams Identify and manage new revenue opportunities Core competencies Extensive, dedicated commercial experience Commercial Acumen of Marina business Significant and demonstrable experience of negotiating business deals (customer/supplier facing) Experience renegotiating large scale, high value, and complex contracts Experienced in ownership of deal business case and financial models In-depth knowledge of negotiation strategies and risk/value analysis Strong customer centric attitude Strong stakeholder relationship skills Data-driven decision making Role Requirements Bachelor or Master's degree Min five to seven (5-7) years related experience in designing and launching commercial plans Fluent in English, both speaking and writing Demonstrated strategic leadership and a proven track record of driving commercial excellence and innovation.
