The tech team is mostly in Bordeaux, but this role is also open to remote candidates, or candidates looking to work from your office in Paris (in Le Marais).

We use a mix of French and English when we work, as we're fortunate to have international team members!
Professional English is essential.

The infra stack is shared, extended & owned by all the tech team (Backend, Frontend & Data).

1. Software engineering:
   
   
   Develop, test, improve our utils, APIs & Backoffice, with a focus on building the backend to enable us to secure financial transactions (ie.
   
   
   donations) on our web platform


2. Database engineering:
   
   
   tune database models / requests / configurations to ensure compliance with financial regulations and optimize real-time transaction processing


3. Data Engineering:
   
   
   automation & plumbing between systems with a strong emphasis on financial data integrity and security


4. Product Development:
   
   
   collaborate on the design of next features related to donations or other financial transactions capabilities


5. DevOps:
   
   
   work on CI/CD, monitoring, etc.


6. Client Support:
   
   
   help our CSM / AE team into finding the right solutions for our clients & prospects by understanding fintech-specific challenges and needs

We obviously do not expect full proficiency over all those areas (awareness & curiosity will be valued).

Here is a subset of your future objectives:

1. Implement the backend side of new features that support secure financial operations and compliance


2. Work on making our product more technologically scalable to handle high volumes of financial transactions


3. Take part in creating the Product roadmap with a fintech industry perspective


4. Obviously, enjoy doing the tasks of the roadmaps ;)


5. Contribute to the company processes and discussions


6. Get fully familiar with the whole backend projects / architecture @Qomon

You are or feel ready to write production backend code — preferably in Golang (nice-to-have but not required to apply) with experience in Fintech,

Proficient & passionate about backend development, ready to take new challenges, especially in building reliable Fintech solutions,

Able to autonomously & rigorously deliver new features,

You have a professional level of English (>= B2 in Reading / Writing / Speaking, C1 preferred),

Flexible enough for the evolving nature of a startup & rigorous enough for working with complex systems, including those handling financial transactions and regulatory requirements,

Ability to finish things,

Interested in taking part in both BUILD & RUN, and not afraid of dealing with a bit of legacy code (of course we have some, who doesn’t?
) ,
