The company with HQs in Paris are on a mission to improve the volume of patients seen by surgeons, reduce wait times and cancellations and improve patient recovery and surgeon experience.
Reporting to an absoluteky exceptional CFO , and working with the CEO, CCO, COO and Commercial and Manufacturing teams, you will play a crucial role in this rapidly expanding Global start-up.
You will be strongly skilled in COGS and inventory management, a background in manufacturing, e.g.
vehicles, jewellery, aerospace, aeronautics where you will have worked with component, part assembly, WIP, will be key and you will be at ease with matters such as pricng , voluemt sales, etc.
You will be at the heart of this organization and you'll work hand-in-hand with Sales and Operations to ensure efficient commercial and industrial performance monitoring.
The CFO has led M&As, IPOs and NYSE floatations - and is a great mentor.
The role carries an attractive salary, bonus and equity as well as other benefits .
Working in Paris, initially 4 days a week but gradually moving to 2-3.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Partnering with leadership to gather financial data for forecasting and reporting purposes from internal BI tools and outsourced accounting firms to support forecasting & reporting Monitoring and maintaining accurate monthly inventory levels, monitoring inventory valuation conducting thorough analysis, and ensuring effective inventory control with accurate reporting and reconciliation Monitoring industrial costs (fixed and variable costs) and leads analysis of deviations versus the standard costs Building the robot budget costs with the VP Ops & Supply Chain Manager Monitoring standard and actual cost and variance; COGS, identifying what comes from purchases, internal cost (personal cost/personal efficiency), under/over activity, scrap/non-quality Monitoring and analaysing Gross Margin - actual GM vs Budget GM with the breakdown between industrial and commercial effects (selling price, volume effects);COGS Ensuring inventory valuation (part numbers, sub-assemblies, WIP) reflects accurately the actual cost of systems and systems sub-assemblies;COGS Updating the analytical plan to properly monitor the Company KPIs Supporting monthly reporting by performing variance analysis between budget and actuals, identify root causes in case of deviations from budget Maintaining and strengthening internal control & compliance Play a pivotal role in selecting and implementing an ERP Work closely with the internal cross-functional team heavily involved in strategic and financial figures.
Proactively support the financial and operations teams Qualifications and Attributes Master's degree in Finance or accounting Min 4 years -ideally upto 10 years in financial controlling in manufacturing industry such as mechanical, automotive, aerospace, working with capital equipment and suppliers managing aspects such as depreciation and stock and inventory control 1-3 year experience in a Big 4 would be a plus.
