SkillsAlliance is partnering with a leading privately owned pharmaceutical company, translating pioneering science into vision-saving treatments to hire their MedicalDirector focusing on ClinicalDevelopment.
The company is supported by a strong, global team who aims to harness the potential of ophthalmic medicine to deliver new treatments to all ocular disease patients as quickly as possible.
The MedicalDirector will sit in the ClinicalDevelopment division and will be responsible for all aspects of the company's clinical programs, as well as working with Medical Affairs on development plans, publications and carrying out due diligence on products the company are looking to acquire.
Desired Skills & Experience â?¢ Medical Doctor with extensive experience working in ClinicalDevelopment in the pharmaceutical industry or in a Contract Research Organisation.
â?¢ Extensive clinical research knowledge and understanding of clinical trial methodology â?¢ Excellent verbal and written skills â?¢ Analytical thinking with ability to present data to a variety of audience â?¢ Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-based matrix environment â?¢ Therapeutic Area experience in Ophthalmology is preferred but not essential â?¢ Experience in performing review of clinical trial data in order to identify trends in safety or efficacy data.
Ability to identify discrepancies in clinical trial data and to write queries from a medical perspective.
â?¢ Fluent in English & French is a plus This is hybrid role which can be based in France or another of the companies European subsidiaries with regular travel to France.
