CEO/Deputy CEO We are looking for a Compliance Officer to join our team in Paris and ensure that our investment firm complies with the relevant laws and regulations in France and the European Union.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective compliance program, monitoring and reporting on compliance risks and issues, and providing guidance and advice to management and staff on compliance matters.

To be successful in this role, you should have a solid understanding of the functioning of the debt markets and the French and European regulatory framework for investment services, especially for non-guaranteed placement and operation of a multilateral trading facility for Debt instruments (e.g.

Bonds and Commercial Papers).

You should also have excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills, and a strong ethical and professional attitude.

You should also have both French and English working language proficiencies.

Responsibilities:

â?¢ Develop further and implement an effective compliance program that covers the legal and regulatory requirements for investment services, as well as the internal policies and procedures of the firm.

â?¢ Monitor and assess the compliance risks of the firm, and report to management and relevant authorities on a regular basis.

â?¢ Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with the compliance program and identify any gaps or weaknesses.

â?¢ Provide guidance and advice to management and staff on compliance matters, such as new or updated regulations, best practices, and compliance training.

â?¢ Liaise and cooperate with external regulators, auditors, and stakeholders on compliance matters, and respond to any inquiries or requests.

â?¢ Keep abreast of the latest developments and trends in the compliance field and update the compliance program accordingly.

Requirements:

â?¢ Bachelor's degree in law, finance, business administration, or a related field â?¢ At least 5 years of experience as a compliance officer or a similar role in an investment firm or a financial institution â?¢ Eligibility to be appointed as Compliance Office with ACPR and AMF or willingness to take the required exams â?¢ Knowledge of the functioning the primary and secondary markets for debt instruments â?¢ Knowledge of the French and European regulatory framework for investment services, especially for non-guaranteed placement and operation of a multilateral trading facility for debt instruments (e.g.

Bonds and Commercial Papers) â?¢ Knowledge of the French Monetary and Financial Code, the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID II), and the Markets in Financial Instruments Regulation (MiFIR), Market Abuse and AMF CFT regulations â?¢ Working proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken â?¢ Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills â?¢ Strong ethical and professional attitude â?¢ Ability to work independently and as part of a team â?¢ Openness to assist in other business matters of the NowCM group NowCM and NowCM France NowCM is data company as well as an issuer in the primary debt capital markets and a market infrastructure provider.

Its French subsidiary NowCM France offers a cloud-native data platform for creating, negotiating, and issuing bonds along with an end-to-end secure, digital workflow platform.

These tools enable all participants in the primary bond markets to collaborate in real-time, fostering an open and cooperative environment.

Furthermore, NowCM facilitates access to primary markets for inaugural and infrequent issuers through its securitisation vehicle regulated by the CSSF in Luxembourg.

Such Treasury product operates as a â??funding subsidiaryâ? using standardised yet flexible documentation and fully automated digital workflows.

In addition, NowCM operates a multi-lateral trading facility (MTF) in France which is a regulated primary marketplace, supervised by ACPR and AMF.
