NEW ROLE – BACKEND RUBY ON RAILS DEV – REMOTE
The client is a well-established e-commerce company based in France that holds a significant stake in their market.
This is a really cool client
- they avoid pointless meetings, focus on fixing issues rather than covering cracks, and have serious growth plans!
Candidates often leave positive impressions, even those who are not successful.
I have placed 2 developers there, both have stayed 4+ years.
The Role:
- Greenfield development
- Identify and communicate root causes of problems to establish better solutions
- Work with a pure Ruby backend library, communicating with APIs and a modern Rails app
- Use PostgreSQL database and mobile apps
Requirements:
- Passion for the RoR stack – ideally with 4+ years of Ruby on Rails experience
- Strong English skills – written and verbal – proficient to work in this language
- Ability to work French hours +
- 2 hours
Interview Process:
- Meet with EM/CTO to discuss the role, company, and your experience
- Complete a technical coding challenge
- Review feedback and meet wider team members
