Heal.dev aims to enable delightful user experiences and fast, effortless software innovation by making software testing autonomous.
We build an agent that automatically navigates websites, runs tests and analyzes the results.
This will ultimately power a feedback loop that will let software improve itself.
Overview of the role You will collaborate with the product team to design features users need, drive the implementation by leveraging state-of-the-art AI, and own the evaluation of the system.
Then, you will work with the rest of the technical team to deploy it.
You will have a foundational impact on the company's core web automation and testing algorithms - we would love to see you push forward ambitious ideas.
As part of the role, you will - Think creatively to solve open problems that combine applied research with system design - Leverage state-of-the-art research and open-source projects to quickly prototype AI systems.
Iterate on them following a data-driven approach - Harness the potential of large multimodal models - Code mostly in Javascript and Python.
You will interact with our Javascript web automation codebase.
- Design and maintain pipelines to collect meaningful data Profile of an ideal candidate - Fluent in English - MS in a computational field with a focus on programming - 4 years of experience in AI engineering or research - Drive to ship fast, solve user needs and see the impact of their work - Strong software engineer background:
has shipped production software or end-to-end software projects, ability to navigate large codebases - Excellent analytical skills and ability to reason probabilistically - Experience with prompt engineering of foundational models is highly recommended, experience finetuning and training is a plus - Contributions to AI academic research, in particular in natural language processing or computer vision, are a plus - Experience with front end software engineering, web applications engineering, web crawling and testing is a plus.
If little experience in the field, a desire to learn about it is key.
Logistics Heal.dev is based in the heart of Le Sentier in Paris Wednesdays are remote no-meeting days for the whole company, 1/2 Fridays are remote Full remote from a / - 2h time zone with Paris, with monthly / quarterly trips to Paris can be considered 100% health insurance coverage for the employee (provided by Alan) Maternity & parental leave:
