The DCS Project System Engineer is responsible for the System Engineering of the DCS.
In his tasks, he is supported by the R&D department for system definition and configuration tools disposal and by Procurement & Logistics support service for system delivery.
Technical Responsibilities:
The DCS Project System Engineer is in charge of:
- The DCS Hardware definition and delivery including packing lists and shipment instructions identification.
- Tests in factory including:
- The validation of the DCS general architecture.
- Networks (Field Networks, Plant Network, Site Network,…).
- Processes & tools Engineering.
- Contract requirements implementation.
- New release upgrade management.
- System site support.
- Technical Contract requirements implementation.
- The detailed hardware architecture definition and equipment handbook issue (internal arrangement, electrical diagrams,…).
- The hardware list definition for procurement (fill the procurement tool with project needs).
- The hardware assembly and cabling of cubicles follow-up in factory.
- The hardware system integration (HMI firmware installation and configuration).
- The hardware tests.
- The FAT organisation (including hardware inspection and HMI functions review).
- The system hardware documentation delivery (standard documents and project specific documents).
- The DCS system O&M documentation.
- Master Time Schedule / MPR / Workload / Engineering budget.

Experience:
3 years minimum in installation and validation systems.
Planning tools:
Excel MPR, Primavera, MS Project.
Electrical habilitation:
B2 BR REQUIRED.
