Due to our continued growth we are now recruiting for a SeatingDesign - TechnicalLead role to be based at our customer facility in Rochefort.
Our Engineering Research and Development department (ER&D) is a fast-growing function within TataTechnologies Limited that is assembled to work on exciting projects globally for multiple customers.
It comprises highly specialized engineers across Automotive, Aerospace and Industrial Heavy Machinery.
THE ROLE The ideal candidate will be a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with extensive experience in the aircraft interior design specifically premium class seatingdesign.
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY Accountable for checking and validating design deliverables produced within design organization throughout product lifecycle.
Leaddesign reviews and ensure on time delivery of engineering milestones.
Responsible for applying processes and methods for product design and ensuring process compliance through change management, design optimization, DFMEA, GD&T, design for manufacture and knowledge management.
Co-ordinate with onsite customer SPOC regarding work packages & gather all inputs.
Co-ordinate with offshore team regarding work inputs & ensure technical co-ordination Works with Design and manufacturing team regarding design and refurbishment of Seating parts.
Should be able to work on Layout of Passenger Accommodation(LOPA).
Prefer knowledge of Ergonomics and Aerospace standards.
Should Create design guidelines and best practices for aggregate integration.
Track and highlight key risks and mitigation mechanisms.
Guide team for debugging support, risk mitigation ensuring Lean design methodology.
Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering team to meet project Milestone.
Experience on Aerospace manufacturing processes and Industrial standard.
Good knowledge on creation of Guidelines, Project Lean Design Roadmap Experience in developing the templates and standards to be used in the Industrial Process & innovative solutions.
Knowledge of Aerospace design standards.
Knowledge of stress analysis on seating interior products.
Good Understanding of Industrial assembly for Aerospace manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in use of various modules of CATIA V5, ENOVIA & Dassault Systems 3DEXPERIENCE is preferable.
Fluent in French and English.
Worked with Global Aero Clients.
Good presentation & Project management skills.
