Chances are that every single one of those interactions, every single one of those experiences, was touched by an Adobe product.We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced LegalCounsel to join our Legal teambased in Paris.As an experienced commercial/IT/IP lawyer you will mainly support Adobe business in Italy and work with a broad range of business matters requiring legal support in Southwest Region (Italy, France, Spain and Portugal).The successful candidate's primary objective will be to act as advisor to, and interface and collaborate with, all levels of the Italian sales community, as well as providing support to other countries and functions within the organization (including the marketing and finance groups) and working with other members of the legal team.

The position is currently hybrid (3 days a week in the office), with our offices located in Paris, France.What you'll doSupporting Adobe business in Italy, with a strong focus on Public Sector (role based in Paris).Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of license, professional services and other commercial agreements and documents, including sales and licensing agreements as well as statements of work, resale, distribution, and consulting agreements.Providing general commercial legal support to the various business units in Italy and other countries of Southwest region (France, Spain and Portugal), and preparing and delivering training in-house, when appropriate, on key legal areas of interest.Collaborating and working closely with other legal team members across EMEA and Latin America.Monitoring and advising on regulations and legislation that will impact our business, including Italian regulations and legislation.Participation in knowledge management and process improvement activities within EMEA, as well as the ability to run and lead departmental projects.Providing legal support to working groups as projects and new work practices are being developed within the business.Carrying out internal training and providing ongoing support to the business on key risks.What you'll need to succeedThis role is for a Paris-based experienced lawyer with knowledge of Italian laws and with confirmed academic background who has trained and qualified with a reputable law firm or in-house department of a comparable company (10-15 years of experience).Proficient English and Italian (mandatory).
Ability to speak another EU language being a distinct advantage.Experience in supporting Italian companies or business, mainly Italian Public Sector.Experienced in Commercial/IT/IP as well as data protection and artificial intelligence issues, good business sense essential.Experience working effectively across business units and internal functions to efficiently resolve business issues.The candidate must be a great teammate, able to self-start with limited guidance and work independently as well as having a positive, problem solving, and business focused attitude with confidence to prioritize workload appropriately in a fast-paced environment.Practical yet creative problem-solving approach that emphasizes addressing business needs while protecting Adobe's interestsGood communication, drafting and technical skills are important, as is experience of the software/IT industry.Ability to multi-task, as well as identify and handle risks.International mindset and approach.High degree of flexibility and ability to adapt quickly.Desire to make an impact and build an exciting career with our Legal teamGood sense of humor.You don't have to match all the listed requirements exactly to be considered for this role.As our many awards will tell you, at Adobe you'll be immersed in an exceptional work environment that is recognized around the world.
